The next two signs to be examined in this series belong to the Sun and the Moon. Both the Sun’s life-giving light and warmth, and the Moon’s nightly visits, have a deep visual impact on our lives but there is another connection which links these two celestial bodies.
Their two signs of rulership lie side by side in the zodiac and aversion makes clear how difficult a relationship can be when two neighbours decide they cannot get along together. Aversion binds them through the signs they rule and through pure coincidence (or destiny), when they are placed in each other’s sign, they cannot see their own signs of dignity.
For instance, the Moon in Leo cannot see Cancer, and the Sun in Cancer cannot see its rulership sign, Leo. The crossover occurs when we remember that Leo Moon is disposited by the Sun (wherever it sits in the chart), and a Sun in Cancer is disposited by the Moon (regardless of its sign).
This oddity aside, there is another factor which must be taken into account before we can move on to how Prime Motivation is thwarted for a fire sign and a water sign. It is impossible to look at aversion for Leo and Cancer without noting whether the individual was born during the daylight hours, or within the twelve hours of darkness.
Sect and Aversion
Why does it matter whether this is a diurnal chart or a nocturnal chart if we are discussing the Ascendant lord’s aversion?
For the reason that every bit of dignity – even an accidental dignity such as sect – may aid a distressed planet which is blind to the Ascendant.
Every bit of help is needed for a planet that cannot see its sign and with the benefit of sect a planet has the ability to feel comfortable within its surroundings. This ease may be the difference between whether the individual manages their life well, or they are constantly fighting battles that are exhausting and require energy and concentration that they feel they do not have in large supply. The three rules of sect cover time, hemisphere, and sign and based on these three rules a planet may, or may not, gain accidental dignity through planetary sect. The first rule divides the clock into two sections: if birth occurs between approximately 6:00 am and 6:00 pm then the chart is deemed to be ‘diurnal’ as the sun appears to have risen over the Ascendant and will look as though it will culminate at the top of the chart and then begin to descend to the western point.
If, on the other hand, birth occurs between the sun setting at dusk and rising the next morning, then the chart is classified as ‘nocturnal’ and the sun is below the horizon in the chart.
This is all a visual trick as the horizon line – marked by the Ascendant and Descendant degree – looks as though it’s not altering, even though it actually moves through the zodiac at approximately one degree for every four minutes of time. This point is really passing the planets at great speed and giving the false impression that it is they that are ‘rising’ and ‘setting’ in a clockwise direction. Yet another quirk of living on a planet that doesn’t feel like it’s hurtling through space and tied to its orbit of the sun by the pure chance of gravity and perpetual movement.
But back to sect. Three planets prefer the daytime – Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn – and three planets prefer the night-time hours – Moon, Venus, and Mars. Mercury can be either sect as it is a diurnal planet if it is ahead of the Sun in the chart, but it is a nocturnal planet if it is behind the Sun at the time of birth.
Being in sect by the first rule – daytime planets in a diurnal chart, or nocturnal planets in a nocturnal chart – is like a sporting team with a home-ground advantage. The ground is pleasantly familiar as the team practices here every week and understands the peculiarities of the pitch, knows the weather conditions and the best vantage points, may even have the luck of a sympathetic referee, or are likely to have an enthusiastic home crowd cheering them on during the match. A planet in its correct sect is relaxed, confident, secure, and like the home-team, believes it has the best advantage on match day.
The most important thing to remember about the second rule of sect is that it does not reverse the first rule. Planetary sect is an accidental dignity – once it has been gained, it cannot be revoked or weakened by the second rule of hemisphere. In fact, what you are trying to do with the second rule is to provide some assistance to the visiting team – the one not in sect by rule #1 – and to try to create a level playing field where everyone has a fair and equal chance of succeeding on the day.
The horizon (Asc/Desc line) divides the chart into two hemispheres: the six houses from one to six which lie below the horizon, and from seven to twelve which are situated above the horizon. The Sun, wherever it lies in the chart, creates what is known as the diurnally-placed hemisphere. In a daytime chart the diurnally-placed hemisphere is above the horizon, but in a nocturnal chart when the Sun is below the horizon, then the diurnally-placed hemisphere is below the horizon.
Regardless of whether the chart is diurnal or nocturnal, the Sun always gets an advantage from rule #2. Even more so if it’s a daytime chart and the Sun is the captain of the home-team. But should he be playing away from home (in a nocturnal chart), he is the cocky captain of the visiting team who gets an advantage by winning the toss (the diurnally-placed hemisphere) and choosing from which end the game will begin.
Just as on the pitch the captain wants the strongest team members by their side, the Sun wants Jupiter, Saturn, and a diurnal Mercury within easy reach on the same side of the hemisphere, especially if it is a nocturnal chart.
Likewise, the Moon wants to be as far away from the Sun as possible in a diurnal chart, so would prefer to be in the opposite hemisphere along with its two lieutenants Venus and Mars, and possibly Mercury if it too is nocturnal in the chart. The Moon and its comrades are the visiting team in a diurnal chart so they would like to gain an edge by being fit, fast, and clever on match day (i.e. in sect dignity).
In a nocturnal chart the Moon and its cronies are the home team and do not lose sect dignity even if they are travelling in the same hemisphere, that is, below the horizon, with the Sun itself.
The third rule of sect is by sign; diurnal and masculine planets – Saturn, Jupiter, Sun and Mars – prefer the yang signs of fire and air elements, whilst the nocturnal and feminine planets – Moon and Venus – prefer the yin signs of the earth and water elements. This is a bit of a quandary for Mars as it is a masculine planet but also a nocturnal planet but most writers are very clear on the fact that Mars identifies primarily as a masculine planet over its nocturnal preferences. Mercury can be either masculine or feminine according to its sect position in relation to the Sun.
The third rule does not seem to gain the same power in sect as rules
1 and 2. However, the planets are match-fit and ready to take their place on the field if they have the third rule in place.
The two luminaries are deeply affected by planetary sect, perhaps the Moon even more so than the Sun, as the Sun can never be out of sect according to the second ruling whereby the Sun governs the hemisphere even when it lies beneath the horizon.
Blind Moon and Sect
For example, the eighth house Aquarian Moon can be caught out by its placement in a diurnal chart as both it, and the Sun, would be placed together in the same hemisphere above the horizon. A very uncomfortable Moon stressed by its inability to see the Ascendant. However, a nocturnal chart would see the Aquarian Moon in good sect dignity: above the horizon and protected by both the first and second rules of sect – a night-time chart, and a Moon in the opposite hemisphere to the Sun.
The Leo Moon in the second house is more fortunate in sect dignity as it is separated from the Sun in a diurnal chart, and gains immediate sect dignity as the main luminary in a nocturnal chart, even when it resides in the same hemisphere as the Sun, that is, beneath the horizon. A Moon more at ease because it gains the advantage of sect whether the individual is born during the day or night.
Blind Mars and Venus in the Accidental Dignity of Sect
The previous two blogs in this series (5th and 16th October) featured both nocturnal planets, Mars and Venus, so it seems only fair to mention how they would fare under the rules of sect dignity. In truth, the same situation applies to them as to the Moon’s positions as a blind planet.
If, as lords of the Ascendant, Mars or Venus is situated in the second house, then they will benefit from the comforts of sect dignity under either the first or second rule of sect. For instance, Taurus Mars in second house with Aries rising, or Sagittarius Mars for a Scorpio Ascendant, will not be able to see the first house, but Mars will either gain home-team advantage in a nocturnal chart (1st rule), or be removed from the heat of the Sun in a diurnal chart because it lies beneath the horizon (2nd rule). Mars may get stressed about its lack of sight to either sign’s Ascendant but it is far less likely to ‘go off the handle’ and react heatedly because it has the capacity to cool down before it does something stupid.
Likewise, Gemini Venus in the second house for Taurus rising and Scorpio Venus in second house for Libra Ascendant will gain some protection and find a difficult social situation eased by sect dignity.
On the other hand, if either Mars or Venus is above the horizon in the eighth or twelfth house, then a diurnal chart will add even more angst and drama to these planets when they are blind to their sign on the Ascendant.
A Scorpio Ascendant with Mars in Gemini (8th) or Libra (12th) will not be happy in a diurnal chart and Mars is likely to be prickly and defensive, easily upset or unwisely rise to anger or impetuosity when challenged by others. This is not going to help the individual’s need for emotional support which is its Prime Motivation in Scorpio’s water element.
For a Taurus rising chart which desires safe physical surroundings for its earthy Prime Motivation, Venus above the horizon in a diurnal chart is likely to add to the individual’s suspicions that complacency is dangerous, and tranquility is not an easily acquired asset for them. For blinded Venus the two fire signs of Sagittarius (8th) and Aries (12th) are already agitators through their respective rulers of Jupiter and Mars, so to add a diurnal chart to the mix is going to further stir up Venus, which ultimately just wants a quiet life.
Blind Sun in Sect Dignity
The Sun – two diurnal possibilities and two nocturnal possibilities for aversion – is blind when Leo is the sign on the Ascendant. In practical terms a Pisces Sun in the eighth house and a Cancer Sun in the twelfth house are the two diurnal possibilities, whilst a Virgo Sun in the second house and a Capricorn Sun in the sixth house are the two feasible scenarios for nocturnal charts with a Sun that lacks vision and direction for its Leo Ascendant.
However, the Sun (the cocky team captain) escapes being out-of-sect as the decree of the second rule will always protect the Sun from being completely out of its depth sect-wise. When the Sun defines the hemisphere it is never out of sect and in either case of a diurnal or nocturnal chart all four placements of the Sun in second, sixth, eighth or twelfth house will be covered by either of the first two rules of sect. I guess when it’s your solar system and everything revolves around you, then you get to call the shots and influence the outcome of the match.

Prime Motivation for Water Signs:
The need to be loved and accepted by the world
***
CANCER RISING : Ruling Planet – MOON
Cancer is the single sign belonging to the Moon. It is the cardinal water sign and is the Ascendant sign found on one version of Thema Mundi, or the Birth-chart of the Universe. Thema Mundi favours Cancer as its rising sign because this sign is considered the most fertile, prolific, and productive of the twelve signs through its connection to the dog-star Sirius and as the sign belonging to the Moon.
Ten of the zodiac signs are available for the Moon to manage the house with Cancer on its cusp. Eight signs have Ptolemaic aspects to Cancer whilst the sign Gemini shares equal light with Cancer and has sight through the rule of Antiscia. The opposing sign, Sagittarius, shares equal rising times with the degrees of Cancer and this rule also saves vision and is called Contra-antiscia.
If the Moon lies in one of the two masculine fixed signs of Leo or Aquarius, it cannot see Cancer.
People born with the sign of Cancer rising are nurturers; they look to feed others either emotionally or with physical acts by providing nourishment through food and beverages. They fulfil their Prime Motivation by supply and demand, often supplying first before the demand on them has actually been made. They believe that by being pro-active they will have built up a bank of reciprocal actions that mean when they need love, help, attention, or support from their environment, then it should be granted freely and without hesitation.
They veer away from being labelled as ‘emotionally needy’ because it embarrasses them, but this changes when they really do need others to be there for them. This is where aversion gets tricky when feelings of being invisible, used, or betrayed come to the fore as Leo Moon is too proud to ask for assistance, whilst Aquarius Moon detaches itself when it most needs to connect and reach out to others to reassure the person that they truly are loved and appreciated by the world.
Sensitivity around body images or the health in general may be compromised by the Moon in aversion to a Cancer Ascendant and the individual’s relationship with the environment can be described as ‘complicated’ when they are feeling vulnerable, unsure, or confused about boundaries or a lack of emotional protection.
TWO AVERSION Signs and House Placements:
Leo (2nd H) : Aquarius (8th H)
***
Challenge for P.M. – Moon in Leo (2nd)
The house of resources contains the Moon and this can result in money and emotions being somehow bound together. There may be issues about spending money to gain acceptance or an elevation in social standing. The Moon’s generosity with loans and gifts to others, especially family members or loved ones, can eventually stress the individual to the point of impacting on health or creating emotional problems.
The Moon in the second house in Leo is likely to crave attention on both fronts – as ruler of the Ascendant and with the Sun as Leo’s dispositor – so frustration and a fear of invisibility is likely to create spending habits that experience highs and lows in emotional responses.
The Moon’s nature is to run in cycles of growth and diminishment so its placement in the house of money can affect not just the finances, but may also imbue a sense of foreboding, or a fear of not being loved or supported by their environment. With a blinded Moon there can be a nagging sense of unease and the person can have no idea why they feel plagued by the anxiety that things can go wrong at any moment.
Challenge for P.M. – Moon in Aquarius (8th)
Attachments are already difficult for the Aquarian Moon which has convinced itself that it can live independent from love, or can disconnect easily from others. This is simply not true, but when the Moon sits in the eighth house, there are a number of changes and endings to be experienced, and these do not help with Cancer’s need for emotional security (P.M.).
Aquarius is an air sign owned by Saturn and the person with Moon in Aquarius constantly runs scenarios and visualizations in their head on the number of options which are available should the individual be hurt or abandoned by the people to whom they are emotionally attached.
They may be able to intellectualize that they are survivors and that plans a), b) or c), will get them through a tough time, but unfortunately they haven’t allowed for the heartache which comes with loss and separation. This emotional naivety can be their undoing, especially when the Moon’s sign is so painfully visible on the Ascendant. Being unprepared is what catches Aquarius Moon flatfooted, and an exposed Ascendant often doesn’t fortify itself against sadness when change comes unexpectedly from the eighth house.

Alternate Rulers to help Ascendant achieve Prime Motivation
***
Exalted Ruler for Cancer, JUPITER
Jupiter was named ‘the greater benefic’ by traditional astrologers so if any planet is going to step in for the Moon then I suppose this is the best alternative. Jupiter will, of course, need to be in a sign which is compatible with Cancer and even then, it is a planet of extremes and may create more drama rather than providing a sense of emotional calm and peacefulness.

Term Rulers for CANCER (besides Jupiter)
Mars (0-7): Venus (7-13): Mercury (13-19): Saturn (26-30)
Depending on the Cancer Ascendant’s degree, there are four other possibilities for temporary ruler of this rising sign. That being said, Cancer is not a great sign for two of these candidates: Mars is in fall in Cancer and Saturn is in detriment in Cancer so neither of these planets has a good working relationship with the Moon’s sign. Nor are they particularly good so far as temperament is concerned to look after an emotion-charged Ascendant. Technically speaking, Saturn or Mars may not be particularly useful as house guardians because they tend to separate rather than smooth things over so I wouldn’t get too comfortable that your Prime Motivation is going to be well looked after by either of these two malefic planets.

FOOTNOTE TO THE MOON IN AVERSION
In the first century Vettius Valens described the Moon in Book One of his Anthologies in this manner:
“The moon, lit by the reflection of the sun’s light and possessing a borrowed light, in a nativity indicates man’s life, body, the mother, conception, beauty, appearance, sight, living together (in matrimony), nurture, the mistress of the house, possessions, fortune, gains, expenses, voyages, travel and wanderings (it does not provide straight pathways because of Cancer.”
This description is not too far from how we might view the Moon today, but many of these significations can be compromised when the Moon is in aversion to Cancer.
Issues include being ill at ease, awkward or in a state of discomfort with one’s own body. There can be a feeling of missing a physical presence in the world, especially when the first house is representative of the body’s vitality and strength and the framework which protects and houses the soul. Mysterious, sudden, or unusual ailments may also be possible outcome when the Moon rules the first house but cannot see it or ignores symptoms that warn of a weakened constitution.
The Ascendant lord is responsible for remembering to care for the physical body and be aware of its requirements to be well-fed, protected, or well-rested but when it is missing there can be times when these basic needs are neglected. Extreme sensitivity to the elements or the environment may mean that changes in temperature are keenly felt by the individual.
The Moon in aversion can result in a highly sensitive or defensive personality where keeping an objective view of the world is difficult and there are sometimes experiences of abandonment or betrayal by others who are distracted or caught up in their own emotional dramas.
Because the Moon also represents the female gender – along with Venus – there can be difficulties or trust issues with women, especially those who are part of the extended family structure. The mother figure may have been missing during the formative years and this can add to the sense of searching for the emotional enrichment and happiness which may have been missing in childhood.

Prime Motivation for Fire Signs:
The desire for power and freedom of action
***
LEO RISING : Ruling Planet – SUN
Leo is the single sign belonging to the Sun and of all four fixed signs, Leo receives the least amount of aid in avoiding aversion. Antiscia (equal light) and contra-antiscia (equal ascension) provide no extra blessings beyond aspect connections for the fixed signs as Taurus is the antiscia for Leo and Aquarius is the antiscia for Scorpio. Likewise, Scorpio is the contra-antiscia for Leo and Aquarius is the contra-antiscia sign for Taurus.
However, the potential to gift sight to the planets can also be granted through the same planet ruling two signs that normally would be blind to one another. This exception is known as like-engirdling and helps three of the four fixed signs: Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius. Through like-engirdling (same ruler) Venus in Libra gains vision of Taurus and vice versa, Mars in Aries or Scorpio can see its fellow sign of Mars, and Saturn in either Capricorn or Aquarius can see the sign alongside it because under the like-engirdling rule, Saturn rules these two consecutive signs.
But the Sun cannot avail itself of this rule because it does not own a second sign. For this reason, if the Sun is found in four of the six feminine signs; the cardinal opposition of Cancer and Capricorn, and the mutable opposition of Virgo and Pisces, it cannot see Leo.
FOUR AVERSION Signs and House Placements:
Virgo (2nd H): Capricorn (6th H):
Pisces (8th H): Cancer (12th H)
***
Challenge for P.M. – Sun in Virgo (2nd)
If the Sun is in Virgo whilst Leo is rising there will be much thought, planning, and effort that goes into how resources can aid or, if projects have gone badly, have decimated the individual’s goals in life. The coffers will never be sufficiently filled for this Sun and any victories can be quickly devalued as the individual tries to rise higher in the pecking order. Self-recrimination can limit the level to which the Prime Motivation is perceived especially if comparisons with others’ success leave the individual feeling deflated or envious.
The success of the Sun in Virgo will be determined by the state of Mercury in the chart and the sign in which it finds itself. Mercury’s maximum distance from the Sun is less than 30 degrees and potentially Mercury can be in the sign ahead of the Sun, in the same sign as the Sun, or in the sign which follows the Sun.
If the Sun is in early degrees of Virgo, its dispositor might be in Leo, and if this is the case then Mercury and the Sun are in each other’s sign. This is not mutual reception as there is no Ptolemaic aspect between Sun in Virgo and Mercury in Leo because the two signs are adjacent. Instead, the correct term is ‘generosity’ so both planets are on equal footing with each other.
The bizarre thing is that if Mercury were to be in Leo, it too would be blind to its own sign Virgo, and so it would be a case of ‘the blind leading the visually-impaired’ as both planets struggle to see their respective houses – Virgo Sun can’t see the Ascendant and Leo Mercury can’t see the second house.
A better scenario would be if Mercury were to also be in Virgo then it would fortify the Virgo Sun and also ease most financial burdens because it would be an in-situ ruler. This may free the Sun to attempt to build on the Prime Motivation’s dossier by setting smaller goals which are within the reach of the individual.
Challenge for P.M. – Sun in Capricorn (6th)
Leo rising with a sixth house Capricorn Sun can be indications of a weakened constitution due to Saturnian injuries or illnesses that are chronic in nature. Saturn rules the bones, joints and skeletal system and any complications with these areas may frustrate Prime Motivation. The inability to act freely and without restrictions may force the individual to accept standards which they feel are beneath their true capabilities.
Capricorn Sun already has an inbuilt trigger for self-sabotage, fearing failure when beginning a task and exposure as a fraud when the task is successfully accomplished, and this is unlikely to help when it can’t see the Ascendant from its sixth house (non) vantage point. Slaving away in the sixth house might bring rewards if Saturn or the ruler of the Midheaven is aspecting this Sun, but feeling as though they have the power and the freedom to make their own choices is somewhat hampered by the fire Ascendant’s inability to realize its Prime Motivation.
Challenge for P.M. – Sun in Pisces (8th)
Leo rising places a Pisces Sun in the eighth house and any ensuing dramas, crises and unexpected changes will upset the fixed fire sign on this Ascendant. Leo rising not only wants to engage in power struggles, it wants to gain a victory, but it also wants to hang on to any advantage that power may bring with it. Unfortunately, power will either slip away when Pisces Sun loses interest, or the loss of joint resources in the eighth house will mean that any monetary gain will likely be sacrificed, along with pride or prestige.
The sensitivity of Pisces Sun is accentuated by its blindness and fretting about it or going through countless mental exercises to change an unwanted outcome will only serve to make this Sun more emotional and less reasonable when it comes to the Ascendant’s Prime Motivation. Pisces Sun does not need the added burden of a blind Ascendant as it already struggles to feel as though it belongs in this worldly plane. Feeling restless or invisible is hard enough without adding states of confusion or a disconnection from the physical realm.
Challenge for P.M. – Sun in Cancer (12th)
The joint dilemma of a Leo Ascendant in combination with Cancer Sun is like a child’s game of peek-a-boo. ‘I demand attention!’ is confused by the counter statement ‘No, don’t look at me! I’m hideous!’ and Prime Motivation is a tightrope of desiring power, but being terrified of gaining it at a time when the individual is emotionally incapable of dealing with it. Loved ones can be either sacrificed at the altar of Power (creating one’s guilt), or used as a barrier to prevent the success of a project (creating one’s martyrdom).
A twelfth house placement for the Sun is not going to help the emotional Cancer Sun to feel safe or protected from invisible enemies and the Ascendant is unlikely to provide armour to deal with attacks from out-of-the-blue. This Sun is better served to look for those who are disenfranchised by society and to use their Sun to protect and nourish those who are invisible in the twelfth house. A blind Ascendant lord means they can identify with people who are ignored or unseen and they can use that connection to benefit both themselves and others.

No Exalted Ruler for LEO

Term Rulers for LEO
Jupiter (0-6): Venus (6-11): Saturn (11-18): Mercury (18-24): Mars (24-30)
Any of the five planets can step up as Term Ruler for the degrees of Leo. Saturn would probably be my least favourite as this is one of the signs of detriment for Saturn, but the other four planets may be of some use provided that the one that owns these degrees is in a sign which can see Leo.

FOOTNOTE TO THE SUN IN AVERSION
Specific to Leo on the Ascendant for any of these four Sun signs is the condition of a blind Ascendant whereby the individual feels under-valued, powerless, or passed over by the world. In order to gain the attention they crave their behaviour can become extreme or unpredictable if this is a part of their life experience.
Nor does being accused of presenting a ‘false image’ help their confidence or self-esteem as the Sun struggles to understand what this can possibly mean. It’s difficult to disclaim a fake identity when the individual is probably not consciously aware of their behaviour or its impact on others when their actions are constantly misunderstood, misinterpreted, or misjudged.
In each of these four Sun signs the earth or water Sun experiences frustration over a lack of recognition or acknowledgement for its efforts. A lack of confidence can be a result of clashes with authority figures (especially Virgo or Capricorn Suns) and feeling that they are coming off ‘second-best’ after these confrontations. This can result in passive aggressive behaviour whereby neither party will give an inch to the other for fear of losing dignity or power. The Leo Ascendant is highly sensitive if it feels ridiculed or under attack, but when its lord is in aversion, it may not see the direction of the attack nor understand the reasoning behind it.
In Book One of his Anthologies first century astrologer Vettius Valens describes the Sun in this manner:
“In a nativity the all-seeing sun, nature’s fire and intellectual light, the organ of mental perception, indicates kingship, rule, intellect, intelligence, beauty, motion, loftiness of fortune, the ordinance of the gods, judgement, public reputation, action, authority over the masses, the father, the master, friendship, noble personages, honours consisting of pictures, statues, and garlands, high priesthoods, rule over one’s country and over other places..”
Clearly some of these descriptions are out-dated but generally speaking the Sun is about honours, reputation, status and public standing, success and ambitions. With aversion any of these principles can be under threat and depending on which of the four signs Sun finds itself in, there are going to be dilemmas when concessions are required for the Sun, and its rulership house, to be productive and to function successfully, or to expect good outcomes whenever the Sun is called into play.
The Sun is going to have to accept standards which are lower than its expectations – both for itself and also for the house with Leo on the cusp – when it is in one of the four signs of aversion to its rulership sign. We can expect that some of the Sun’s natural ‘fire and intellectual light’ is going to be dimmed by aversion and for a luminary that relies on confidence, pride, and initiative to find itself then being occasionally shaken by being caught unawares is going to feel like a blow to the person’s ego. Add the struggle to manage the affairs of their allotted house and we have a nervous Sun that is caught between wanting to stretch itself to the limits but fearful of failing at the task.
Neither Sun in Virgo or Capricorn likes to lower its standards or admit that they have lost control of a situation, but this can happen under the strain of aversion. Blindness can lead to ignorance, panic, suspicion and over-reaction and neither of these Suns, or even the two water signs of Cancer or Pisces, are well-equipped to deal with high levels of drama or stress.
